  3.     DAMAGES AWARDED. To Marc Christian, 35, Rock Hudson's lover:
  4. $14.5 million for the emotional distress he suffered because of
  5. the possibility that he could have contracted AIDS from the film
  6. star; in Los Angeles. A jury found that Hudson, who died in 1985,
  7. hid his AIDS diagnosis from Christian so he could continue the
  8. couple's two-year liaison. The jury also concluded that Hudson's
  9. secretary, Mark Miller, had acted with malice in failing to inform
  10. Christian that Hudson had the disease and awarded Christian an
  11. additional $7.25 million in punitive and exemplary damages.
  12. Christian has tested negative for AIDS.
